drawings

My drawings are expressions of emotions, thoughts, perspectives and sensations that are difficult to describe using words. They involve both an isolation that comes from looking at the world through the wrong end of a telescope and an immersion into the current that rushes us through life.

The drawings echo scientific representations of time and at the same time are sensitive to the feel of the pencil marks, listening to the passing of sounds and perhaps thoughts.

For me, pencil on paper is both the most difficult and most sacred medium that offers an opportunity for a purer communication that I hope is more personal and less troubled by social, political and cultural implications.
